네가 거친 사막 갈 때 목마르지 않으리
네가 길을 잃고 헤맬 때 안전하게 가리라
네가 낯선 이게 말할 때 그들은 이해하리
주님 얼굴 찾으면 살리
You shall cross the barren desert, but you shall not die of thirst.
You shall wander far in safety, though you do not know the way.
You shall speak your words in foreign lands, and all will understand,
You shall see the face of God and live.

두려워 말라
내 항상 앞에 서리 날 따르라
내 쉬게 하리라
Be not afraid,
I go before you always,
Come follow Me, and I shall give you rest.

네가 물결 헤쳐갈 때 안전하게 건너리
네가 불 속에서 거닐 때 타지 않으리
네가 지옥 문 앞에 설 때 죽음이 다가와도
내가 너와 함께 하리라
If you pass through raging waters in the sea, you shall not drown.
If you walk amidst the burning flames,
you shall not be harmed. If you stand before the pow'r of hell and death is at your side,
know that I am with you, through it all
