Monday of the Fourth Week in Ordinary Time

+2 사무엘 15, 13-14. 30; 16, 5-13ㄱ

<압살롬에게서 달아납시다. 

주님께서 명령하신 것이니 저주하게 내버려 두시오.>

(해설)

다윗의 맏아들 암논은 다윗 왕의 직계 계승자였으나

압살롬의 누이동생 타마르를 욕보였습니다.

그러자 압살롬은 누이동생에 대한 복수의 기회를 이용하여

왕좌의 경쟁자인 암논을 제거해 버렸습니다.

다윗의 셋째 아들인 압살롬은 왕위 후보자였지만

다윗 왕의 눈 밖에 났던 것입니다.

그러자 압살롬은 반란을 일으켰습니다.

그 무렵

13 전령 하나가 다윗에게 와서 말하였다.

“이스라엘 사람들의 마음이 압살롬에게 쏠렸습니다.”

 

14 다윗은 예루살렘에 있는 모든 신하에게 일렀다.

“어서들 달아납시다. 잘못하다가는 우리가 압살롬에게서 빠져나갈 수

없을 것이오. 서둘러 떠나시오. 그러지 않으면 그가 서둘러 우리를 따라잡아

우리에게 재앙을 내리고, 칼날로 이 도성을 칠 것이오.”

 

30 다윗은 올리브 고개를 오르며 울었다. 그는 머리를 가리고 맨발로 걸었다.

그와 함께 있던 이들도 모두 제 머리를 가리고 울면서 계속 올라갔다.

 

16,5 다윗 임금이 바후림에 이르렀을 때였다.

사울 집안의 친척 가운데 한 사람이 그곳에서 나왔는데,

그의 이름은 게라의 아들 시므이였다. 그는 나오면서 저주를 퍼부었다.

 

6 온 백성과 모든 용사가 임금 좌우에 있는데도,

그는 다윗과 다윗 임금의 모든 신하에게 돌을 던졌다.

 

7 시므이는 이렇게 말하며 저주하였다. “꺼져라, 꺼져! 이 살인자야, 이 무뢰한아!

 

8 사울의 왕위를 차지한 너에게 주님께서 그 집안의 모든 피에 대한

책임을 돌리시고, 그 왕위를 네 아들 압살롬의 손에 넘겨주셨다.

너는 살인자다. 이제 재앙이 너에게 닥쳤구나.”

 

 9 그때 츠루야의 아들 아비사이가 임금에게 말하였다.

“이 죽은 개가 어찌 감히 저의 주군이신 임금님을 저주합니까?

가서 그의 머리를 베어 버리게 해 주십시오.”

 

10 그러나 임금은 “츠루야의 아들들이여, 그대들이 나와 무슨 상관이 있소?

주님께서 다윗을 저주하라고 하시어 저자가 저주하는 것이라면,

어느 누가 ‘어찌하여 네가 그런 짓을 하느냐?’ 하고 말할 수 있겠소?”

 

11 그러면서 다윗이 아비사이와 모든 신하에게 일렀다.

“내 배 속에서 나온 자식도 내 목숨을 노리는데,

하물며 이 벤야민 사람이야 오죽하겠소?

주님께서 그에게 명령하신 것이니 저주하게 내버려 두시오.

 

12 행여 주님께서 나의 불행을 보시고,

오늘 내리시는 저주를 선으로 갚아 주실지 누가 알겠소?”

 

13 다윗과 그 부하들은 길을 걸었다.

13 An informant came to David with the report,

"The Israelites have transferred their loyalty to Absalom."

 

14 At this, David said to all his servants who were with him in Jerusalem "Up!

Let us take flight, or none of us will escape from Absalom.

Leave quickly, lest he hurry and overtake us,

then visit disaster upon us and put the city to the sword."

 

30 As David went up the Mount of Olives, he wept without ceasing.

His head was covered, and he was walking barefoot.

All those who were with him also had their heads covered

and were weeping as they went.

 

16.5 As David was approaching Bahurim, a man named Shimei,

the son of Gera of the same clan as Saul's family,

was coming out of the place, cursing as he came.

 

6 He threw stones at David and at all the king's officers,

even though all the soldiers, including the royal guard,

were on David's right and on his left.

 

7 Shimei was saying as he cursed

'Away, away, you murderous and wicked man!

 

8 The LORD has requited you for all the bloodshed in the family of Saul,

in whose stead you became king, and the LORD has given

over the kingdom to your son Absalom.

And now you suffer ruin because you are a murderer.'

 

9 Abishai, son of Zeruiah, said to the king

'Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king?

Let me go over, please, and lop off his head.'

 

10 But the king replied

'What business is it of mine or of yours, sons of Zeruiah, that he curses?

Suppose the LORD has told him to curse David;

who then will dare to say, 'Why are you doing this?''

 

11 Then the king said to Abishai and to all his servants

'If my own son, who came forth from my loins, is seeking my life,

how much more might this Benjaminite do so!

Let him alone and let him curse, for the LORD has told him to.

 

12 Perhaps the LORD will look upon my affliction

and make it up to me with benefits for the curses he is uttering this day.'

 

13 David and his men continued on the road,

while Shimei kept abreast of them on the hillside,

all the while cursing and throwing stones and dirt as he went.

사태가 불리해지자 다윗 왕은 예루살렘을 떠나 광야로 피신하였습니다.

다윗은 자기의 가족들 안에서도 수모를 겪었고,

사울의 친척들에게서도 악담을 들었습니다.

그러나 다윗은 이 모든 사건들을 주 하느님께서 일으키신 일들로 받아들였습니다.

 다윗은 왕자의 반란 사건을 통해

지난날의 불의했던 자신의 삶을 반성하였습니다.

(해설)

예수님께서 마귀 떼를 쫓아내셨습니다.

수가 많아서 군대라고 불리는 그 악령들은 예수님의 한 말씀으로 쫓겨나

돼지 떼 속으로 들어가고, 악령 들린 사람은 말끔히 나아서

예수님의 놀라운 일을 사람들에게 전하였습니다.

그는 예수님께서 자기에게 베풀어주신 일들을 여러 지방에 두루 알렸습니다.

이 사건을 전해들은 사람은 모두 놀랐습니다

그때에 예수님과 제자들은

1 호수 건너편 게라사인들의 지방으로 갔다.

 

2 예수님께서 배에서 내리시자마자,

더러운 영이 들린 사람이 무덤에서 나와 그분께 마주 왔다.

 

3 그는 무덤에서 살았는데,

어느 누구도 더 이상 그를 쇠사슬로 묶어 둘 수가 없었다.

 

4 이미 여러 번 족쇄와 쇠사슬로 묶어 두었으나,

그는 쇠사슬도 끊고 족쇄도 부수어 버려 아무도 그를 휘어잡을 수가 없었다.

 

5 그는 밤낮으로 무덤과 산에서 소리를 지르고 돌로 제 몸을 치곤 하였다.

 

6 그는 멀리서 예수님을 보고 달려와 그 앞에 엎드려 절하며,

 

7 큰 소리로 “지극히 높으신 하느님의 아들 예수님,

당신께서 저와 무슨 상관이 있습니까? 하느님의 이름으로 당신께 말합니다.

저를 괴롭히지 말아 주십시오.” 하고 외쳤다.

 

8 예수님께서 그에게

“더러운 영아, 그 사람에게서 나가라.” 하고 말씀하셨기 때문이다.

 

9 예수님께서 그에게 “네 이름이 무엇이냐?” 하고 물으시자,

그가 “제 이름은 군대입니다. 저희 수가 많기 때문입니다.” 하고 대답하였다.

 

10 그러고 나서 예수님께 자기들을

그 지방 밖으로 쫓아내지 말아 달라고 간곡히 청하였다.

 

11 마침 그곳 산 쪽에는 놓아기르는 많은 돼지 떼가 있었다.

 

12 그래서 더러운 영들이 예수님께, “저희를 돼지들에게 보내시어

그 속으로 들어가게 해 주십시오.” 하고 청하였다.

 

13 예수님께서 허락하시니 더러운 영들이 나와 돼지들 속으로 들어갔다.

그러자 이천 마리쯤 되는 돼지 떼가 호수를 향해 비탈을 내리 달려,

호수에 빠져 죽고 말았다.

 

14 돼지를 치던 이들이 달아나 그 고을과 여러 촌락에 알렸다.

사람들은 무슨 일이 일어났는지 보려고 왔다.

 

15 그들은 예수님께 와서 마귀 들렸던 사람, 곧 군대라는 마귀가 들렸던

사람이 옷을 입고 제정신으로 앉아 있는 것을 보고는 그만 겁이 났다.

 

16 그 일을 본 사람들이 마귀 들렸던 이와 돼지들에게

무슨 일이 일어났는지 그들에게 이야기해 주었다.

 

17 그러자 그들은 예수님께 저희 고장에서 떠나 주십사고 청하기 시작하였다.

 

18 그리하여 예수님께서 배에 오르시자, 마귀 들렸던 이가

예수님께 같이 있게 해 주십사고 청하였다.

 

19 그러나 예수님께서는 허락하지 않으시고 그에게 말씀하셨다.

“집으로 가족들에게 돌아가, 주님께서 너에게 해 주신

일과 자비를 베풀어 주신 일을 모두 알려라.”

 

20 그래서 그는 물러가, 예수님께서 자기에게 해 주신 모든 일을

데카폴리스 지방에 선포하기 시작하였다. 그러자 사람들이 모두 놀랐다.

1 They came to the other side of the sea, to the territory of the Gerasenes.

 

2 When he got out of the boat, at once a man from the tombs

who had an unclean spirit met him.

 

3 The man had been dwelling among the tombs,

and no one could restrain him any longer, even with a chain.

 

4 In fact, he had frequently been bound with shackles and chains,

but the chains had been pulled apart by him and the shackles smashed,

and no one was strong enough to subdue him.

 

5 Night and day among the tombs and on the hillsides

he was always crying out and bruising himself with stones.

 

6 Catching sight of Jesus from a distance,

he ran up and prostrated himself before him,

 

7 crying out in a loud voice,

'What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God?

I adjure you by God, do not torment me!'

 

8 (He had been saying to him, 'Unclean spirit, come out of the man!')

 

9 He asked him, 'What is your name?' He replied, 'Legion is my name.

There are many of us.'

 

10 And he pleaded earnestly with him

not to drive them away from that territory.

 

11 Now a large herd of swine was feeding there on the hillside.

 

12 And they pleaded with him, 'Send us into the swine. Let us enter them.'

 

13 And he let them, and the unclean spirits came out and entered the swine.

The herd of about two thousand rushed down a steep bank into the sea,

where they were drowned.

 

14 The swineherds ran away and reported the incident in the town

and throughout the countryside.

And people came out to see what had happened.

 

15 As they approached Jesus, they caught sight of the man

who had been possessed by Legion, sitting there clothed

and in his right mind. And they were seized with fear.

 

16 Those who witnessed the incident explained to them

what had happened to the possessed man and to the swine.

 

17 Then they began to beg him to leave their district.

 

18 As he was getting into the boat,

the man who had been possessed pleaded to remain with him.

 

19 But he would not permit him but told him instead,

'Go home to your family and announce to them all

that the Lord in his pity has done for you.'

 

20 Then the man went off and began to proclaim in the Decapolis

what Jesus had done for him; and all were amazed.

<  복음 묵상 >

예수님께서 우리 마음 안에 있는 마귀 떼를 몰아내십니다.

수가 많아서 군대라고 불리는 더러운 악령들,

즉 무질서한 애착에 사로잡힌 우리 마음 안의 악령들도

예수님의 한 말씀으로 물러날 것입니다.

온갖 탐욕과 물질에 얽매인 현대인들은

예수 그리스도 앞에 나아와 도움을 청해야 합니다.

그러면 주 예수님께서 우리에게 자비를 베풀어 주실 것입니다.

마귀들과 돼지 떼

+ 마르코 5, 1-20

 

1.  예수님께서는 마귀 들린 사람을 한 말씀으로 치유하셨습니다.

마귀는 어떻게 주님이 하느님의 아들임을 알아보았습니까?

내 안에도 나도 모르는 어두움이 탐욕, 거짓, 악습 등의 모습으로 들어와

나의 생각을 지배하고 있지는 않습니까?

어두움으로부터 해방되어 자유를 얻기 위해 무엇을 해야 합니까?

 

2. 많은 은총을 경험했지만 어느 순간부터 게을러져

다시 어두움을 받아들이지는 않았습니까?

내가 기도하지 않고 주님으로부터 한눈팔고 있을 때

내게 다시 들어오려고 기회를 노리고 있는 마귀의 모습을 상상해 보십시오.

내 마음 안의 어두움을 몰아내고 마귀에게 조정 당하지 않기 위해

예수 그리스도께 끊임없이 치유의 자비를 청하십시오.
